Shana Forta
VP of Operations

Shana Forta is Vice-President of Operations of the Gold Institute for International Strategy (GIIS) in Washington, DC. GIIS is a go-to organization for U.S. policy makers, as well as foreign governments seeking guidance on the most complex foreign policy and defense issues. She works with representatives from a variety of European and Middle Eastern countries including Egypt, Kurdistan, and Israel.

In addition to her role as VP of Operations, Ms. Forta chairs the Institute’s antisemitism program, working alongside senior law enforcement fellows representing various agencies. A program which seeks to train law makers and law enforcement to implement preventative policies to counter antisemitism.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marygrove College in Michigan. She is currently enrolled in Harvard University’s Kennedy School’s Public Leadership Program.

Shana is a member of the Board of Directors for American Preservation Alliance, a non-profit Educational Research Center in Washington, DC.

She has appeared on a variety of national and international media outlets; she also co-hosts the G2 podcast with the Institute’s President Eli Gold to analyze current events.
